Why I Started Ballance Fitness

I decided to open my own gym after working at an independent gym for 6+ years. I was lucky enough to learn a lot there and decided it was time to try it on my own. The philosophies and program designs that I learned will always be at the heart of my gym. Creating safe and challenging workouts is paramount.

I’ve never doubted this is the right path for me as coaching people brings me an indescribable amount of joy. Helping people push themselves and see how strong they really are fills my cup… to the brim. It really comes down to helping people live longer, healthier, more comfortable lives. Strength training will ultimately ensure a higher quality of life. I’d argue balance and mobility are just as important. So you’ll be sure to see that in my programs as well!

I love this job. I have so much gratitude for the trust my clients place in me and the effort they bring to every session. Seeing people achieve what they once thought was impossible is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. It’s not just about losing weight or gaining muscle—it’s about building confidence, improving health, and creating a supportive community where everyone feels empowered to succeed.

Ballance Fitness isn’t just a gym. It’s a space where people of all fitness levels can feel supported, challenged, and valued. My mission is to help my clients find the best version of themselves, not just physically, but mentally too.

To those who’ve already joined me on this journey, thank you. To those thinking about taking the leap—there’s always room for you here. Let’s work together to achieve your goals, improve your health, and build a life that feels good every day.

Here’s to balance, strength, and longevity!
