About Jill Ballance

In 2016 I joined a fitness bootcamp and fell in love with the whole-body, interval style training that made for a challenging workout. Along with the classes, I fell in love with the camaraderie that I felt pushing my limits in small group settings. But most of all the mindful program design and rationale of safety and reps in the workouts stood out to me.  

 

The following year I became a trainer at the same independent gym and I’ve never looked back. I found the job incredibly rewarding. I'm a people-person.  I love helping people get faster and stronger, and I love getting to know people through some shared laughs too.

I’ve set up my own space and I’m so excited to create fun and challenging workouts for people who are looking to bridge the gap between mental and physical health. I love pushing members to get a few more reps in, or add a little more weight to the bar. I’m deeply invested in helping you achieve your goals because your successes are my successes, and sharing your wins is why I love doing what I do.

As the first time gym user Jill immediately put me at ease with her gentle and encouraging nature. All of the instructions are clear and include demonstrations when needed. Modifications are given based on your body needs if required. The workouts are incredibly creative and motivating. Gentle corrections are given to encourage good form to keep the body safe.  I’ve honestly never worked this hard for anyone and had this much fun while doing it.
